Here it is, after running the Waler – No Excuses remix competition throughout March, encouraging producers from around the globe to download the stems of No Exucses and then submit their remix entries to the Speech Fewapy Records website, we find ourselves now on the cusp of the official launch night for the Waler – No Excuses Remix EP.

Richard Franks of upcoming Birmingham based web-zine Counteract Magazine is this week’s SPOTI-FEWAPY curator. Counteract Magazine presents positive and well balanced coverage of national and local music news and reviews, living up to their slogan “National News with a Local Edge.

Counteract Magazine also run regular clubnights in Birmingham at the newly refurbished HMV Institute in Digbeth as well as the Hare & Hounds, Kings Heath and the Bulls Head, Moseley. Check out the Counteract website for more details.

To celebrate the release of the ‘Tripple Click It ‘ EP, we asked Tom Peel to compile a playlist for this week’s SPOTI-FEWAPY. ‘There Is No There’ consists of Tom’s favourite tracks including those that had an influence on the making of the EP.
