Here it is, after running the Waler – No Excuses remix competition throughout March, encouraging producers from around the globe to download the stems of No Exucses and then submit their remix entries to the Speech Fewapy Records website, we find ourselves now on the cusp of the official launch night for the Waler – No Excuses Remix EP.

Exciting News here at Chez Speech Fewapy. We are teaming up with Solihull-based electronic two-piece Waler to run a contest that gives both budding and established producers and DJs the opportunity to remix their track ‘No Excuses’. The best submitted remixes will be selected to feature on the ‘No Excuses – Remix EP’ and released on digital download on 2 May 2011.

Danny Rowe, formerly of 35 Seconds (recently voted Birmingham’s best band of the decade) and currently of electronic outfit VS has remixed the opening track on Greg Bird and Flamingo Flame’s Shruburbia EP – “Wonderland” under his Minced Beats banner…

The UK’s very own hotly tipped DJ sensation Spark Up has come up with a Rustler Remix for The Traps track Luna!
