This Friday 20 May 2011, Speech Fewapy Records are proud to announce the release of the new EP from Black Heart Generator – ‘Beatnik Summer’.

The Traps perform live tomorrow night (Tuesday 17 May) at The Hare & Hounds, Kings Heath, Birmingham, supporting Pete & The Pirates, who return after writing the follow-up to 2008’s acclaimed debut – Little Death. Also on the bill are Swim Deep.

What better way to kick off the next few weeks holidayz than watching The Traps amongst many others at Hott Date at the HMV Institute in Digbeth, Birmingham.

In this month’s Speech Fewapy competition, we are giving away:

To celebrate National Record Store Day, Speech Fewapy Records will once again show it’s support to Birmingham’s independent record shops.

We’ll be working with our good friends at Miss Perry Presents… and the Soul Food Project, who will provide a limited amount of food for attendees at Polar Bear Records.
There will also be a limited edition cd available for sale at both stores on the day.

Here it is, after running the Waler – No Excuses remix competition throughout March, encouraging producers from around the globe to download the stems of No Exucses and then submit their remix entries to the Speech Fewapy Records website, we find ourselves now on the cusp of the official launch night for the Waler – No Excuses Remix EP.

We are excited to announce a show instore at the We Are Birmingham shop in the city centre this Friday April 15th.

The acoustic instore starts on Friday at 6pm-8pm. 3 wonderful acts: Ben Calvert, Young Runaways, and Speech fewapy’s very own Tom Peel.
